Baby gifts worth giving.
A small, careful collection of newborn and baby gifts — picked by a mother, for the gift-givers who want to show up with something the parents will actually use.
Why Dear Arrival exists
Most baby gift guides online are noise. They’re whatever’s trending on TikTok, whatever the writer received as a free sample, or whatever earned the highest commission that week. The same items appear on every list. Half the recommendations are products no real parent would buy twice.
Dear Arrival exists because gift-givers deserve better than that — and new parents deserve gifts that make their first months easier, not just cuter.
Every product covered on this site has earned its place by being safe, useful, and worth giving. Nothing is here because a brand paid to be included. Nothing is here because the commission was high. The criteria are on the About page, and they don’t bend.

About Dear Arrival
I’m Neera. I’m a mother, and I run a family business. Dear Arrival is the project I’ve been wanting to start for a long time — a place that takes baby gifts seriously, because what we give to a new baby matters more than the cards we send to celebrate them.
Everything important in the world is connected back to children. So when someone we love welcomes a new baby, the gift we bring shouldn’t be an afterthought. It should be the most thoughtful thing we give all year.

How we pick what to recommend
- Used or wished for. Every product is something I used as a parent, or something I wish I’d had.
- Safe. Children’s products on this site meet US safety standards (CPSIA-compliant where applicable).
- From brands that stand behind their products. Real return policies, real customer service.
- Editorially independent. Brands cannot pay to be included. Commission rates never change what we recommend.
Full editorial policy in the Affiliate Disclosure.
